Drs Patrick Nelson and Robert Greenhagen will be lecturing at the Heartland conference in Des Moines, Iowa. The Heartland conference is one of the largest podaitric conferences in the Midwest region. The Heartland Podiatry Conference represents a wide range of podiatric professionals who specialize in surgery, sports medicine, diabetics, arthritis, orthopedics, wound care and general podiatric care.
Dr Greenhagen was asked to lecture at the Key West No Nonsense conference in Key West, Florida. The conference ran from October 18-20 and supports the Greater Texas Educational Foundation (GTEF). GTEF is a nonprofit organizationt hat supports resident education. Dr Greenhagen presented on a variety of topics such as wound care, traumatic injuries in diabetic patients, advanced reconstruciton techniques and ankle arthroscopy.
Drs. Robert Greenhagen and Patrick Nelson were honored to present at this years Heartland conference in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dr. Greenhagen presented on a number of topics including "Preventing Surgical Site Infections," "Basics of Ankle Arthroscopy," "Charcot versus Osteomyelitis," and "Plastic Surgery for the Diabetic Foot." He also served as the panel moderator for the Mega-Workshop "Fuse It or Use It."
Dr. Nelson presented on "Lesser Metatarsophalangel Joint Instbility," "Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)" and "Venous Stasis Ulcerations." Dr. Nelson was also asked to be a panel member for the "Fuse It or Use It" Mega-Workshop.
