With all of the changes in health care, we have had to make changes to various parts of our office policies. These changes can be found on our website for your review.
First, our current "Health Information Privacy Policies" can be found in the "New Patients" page. These polices have changed due to federal mandates that require a more indepth disclosure about how we will protect your health information. Our privacy policies can be found under the "HIPPA Rights and Information" link.
Second, we will be changing our "Appointment and Cancellation Policies". The primary change is that patient's will be fined $40 for two consecutive missed appointments or three or more missed appointments in one calendar year. This fine is the responsibility of the patient and will not be submitted to a patient's insurance. These changes are occuring due to the increased frequency of missed appointments.
