Happy Memorial Day! We at the Foot and Ankle Center of Nebraska would like to thank all of the men and women who have served in the military to protect our freedoms. We would especially like to thank the families of those soldiers who gave the greatest sacrifice.
For those history fans, Memorial Day began after the Civil War as a time to remember our fallen brethren. It was originally termed Decoration Day and occurred at the end of May due to the abundance of flowers to decorate the graves of our fallen soldiers.
We will be observing Memorial Day at the Foot and Ankle Center of Nebraska on Monday May 26th. We will be re-open on Tuesday May 27. Our on call physician line is still active and if an emergency occurs feel free to contact us at 402-391-7575.
